BAC’s proven sun protection sleeve is now available with new plastic fasteners. Thanks to this optimization, the single-sided coated, fabric-reinforced PVC foil is now much easier and more convenient to handle.

Another advantage is that the plastic fasteners are already attached to the sun protection sleeve. This means that they cannot be lost or forgotten during installation.

The sleeve reliably protects the rolled-up pool cover from intense sunlight, effectively preventing material damage such as burns. It also provides extra protection against dirt.

Another benefit is that the sleeve is maintenance free. However, to ensure a long service life it is recommended that it is cleaned regularly to remove dust and dirt – just like the pool cover itself. If the sleeve is left on the pool for an extended period of time, the area between the sleeve and the pool should always be kept dry. Otherwise, micro-organisms can grow in the residual moisture and cause unpleasant odors.
